Ida Hammer Intermediate Hoof Trimming

Students will start with a cadaver leg to trim. They will use what they were taught in the beginner class to troubleshoot and to reason what needs to be done to the  hoof they have to trim. After all students are finished they will have the opportunity to describe their trim and reasons for the decisions made to their fellow participants. ( a great opportunity to improve on client relations).
After lunch we will begin demonstrations with a live horse.
Our focus on this portion is to demonstrate proper tool handling while under a horse and ergonomically correct and safe ways to trim.
Prerequisite for this class is the Beginner trimming and ETEH class.
Cost for this class is 250.00  for full participants
125.00 for auditors

A 50.00 non refundable deposit is required to hold a spot.
All classes must be paid in full 14 days prior to class.
