Linda Yopp, owner and operator, has lived in Greenville for 25 years. She and her husband purchased the 10 acre property in 2021 with the goal of sharing her love and passion for the horse with others.

Lots of thought came into naming the facility, Shadydale, after her late parents first horse. The meaning behind Shadydale is “you are covered in the valley”. Linda’s desire for people to know that they are covered by God and Jesus’ blood is a huge importance to her opening this space for others to enjoy.

Shadydale is host to two airbnb rentals inside the 19 stall facility. There are 5 horses, 6 chickens and one barn cat named Juni-purr on site.

Linda is a Certified Equine First Aid Instructor with Equi-First Aid USA, is an Equine Life Coach, and also was Certified an Equine Specialist with EAGALA in 2014.

Her main focus is on utilizing the center to teach Equine First Aid, host clinics on various topics concerning horses and humans, and collaborate with others in her community to bring awareness of how horses can help humans connect on a deeper level with one another through hands on horsemanship.
